On-Campus Employment

International students on an F-1 visa are eligible to work on-campus for up to 20 hours per week while school is in session and full-time during official breaks. These roles range from library assistants to teaching and research assistants. Post-Study Work Permit (OPT)

Optional Practical Training (OPT) allows graduates to gain 12 months of full-time work experience in their field of study. Students who complete STEM-designated programs are eligible for a 24-month extension, totaling to 36 months of work authorization in the United States. This extended period is a crucial pathway for securing long-term career growth and potential H1-B employer sponsorship.
