Admission & Visa Process

Post-Study Work Visa (PSW)

Graduate Route

For students who complete their degree on or after 1 January 2027, the post-study work permit will be issued for 18 months. However, PhD Graduates remain eligible for a 3-year stay-back period. After this period, graduates must switch to another visa category such as the Skilled Worker visa in order to continue to remain in the UK.

Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR)

After 5-10 years, you may be able to apply permanently to settle in the UK via ILR. This gives you the right to live and work in the UK for as long as you like, and apply for eligible benefits.
