Graduates from Korean universities on a D-2 student visa can apply for the D-10 Job Seeker Visa for up to 2 years to remain in South Korea while actively seeking employment. The visa is issued in 6-month renewable terms and allows internship participation of up to 1 year during the job search period. Once a qualifying job offer is secured, graduates can transition to an E-7 work visa for skilled professionals, with Korea’s points-based system offering faster conversion pathways for STEM and technology sector roles.

Post-Study Work Rights

Singapore does not offer an automatic post-study work permit. Graduates from recognised institutions can apply for a 1-year Long Term Visit Pass (LTVP) to remain in Singapore while actively seeking employment. Once a job offer is secured, the employer applies for an Employment Pass on the graduate’s behalf.

Study in Malaysia

Post-Study Work Rights

Malaysia offers a 12-month Graduate Pass allowing graduates of approved Malaysian institutions to remain in the country to seek employment. Indian nationals are currently eligible for this pass until 31 December 2026, subject to case-by-case approval and a letter of good conduct from the institution or embassy. Once a job offer is secured, graduates must transition to an Employment Pass sponsored by the employer for long-term work rights.
